Fennel

Certified Organic Florence fennel, variety *Fino*, sold with the fronds entact (for use as herb or garnish). Their fine aniseed flavour is in our humble opinion best enjoyed raw, but they are also superb braised in a tomato-based sauce; the leaves can liven up a salad, added finely chopped.
