About our Tomatillos

Certified Organic We are in love with tomatillos this autumn. We are delighted to be livening up a boring cheese sandwich with thin slices of this tangy, exciting, flavoursome fruit. Most famous for salsa but can be used in many ways. Grown in our Market Garden in the Wye Valley. As the good people at Riverford put it: "Tomatillos are adored for their fresh, tangy, citrus-sweet flavour, and can be used in almost everything. Grill, barbecue, roast or use in stews – but they are best in a salsa verde, where they combine so finely with coriander, garlic and chilli."
