Outstanding purple, white and golden turnips.
If it's the *humble turnip* you're looking for then you've come to the wrong place! These are the noblest turnips south of Hadrian's Wall - forget any associations of peasants sitting around in the rain miserably eating turnip gruel, and banish Baldrick from your brain. These are sublime salad turnips delicious raw or cooked. They are sweet with a perfectly balanced texture. The leaves are really good to eat too, my kids like to chew the stalks raw like a stick of celery. Grated raw in a slaw, mashed with a generous amount of butter or - for the daring - roasted in coconut oil, these turnips are versatile and tasty. Sold as a bunch of 3-4 turnips.
